TONE Scaffolding Services are looking for a seasoned Yard Foreman. The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision and management of the Yard operative team alongside the Logistics and Depot Manager. Experience of Layher ring system would be preferable but is not essential.
Applicants must have previously supervised or managed a scaffolding yard. This can include stock control and the monitoring of equipment, the supervision of loading and unloading of equipment onto the Lorries; to oversee the sorting moving of equipment and fittings within the Yard; ensuring the team are keeping the Yard and surrounding areas clean and tidy within a safety conscious environment.
You must have strong managerial skills; be able to identify and manage inefficiencies, and a firm ability to guide and manage a team of yard operatives. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be flexible and undertake a variety of duties within the Yard, all whilst working collaboratively with our business divisions.
Ability to work in a demanding environment, encouraging and motivating the team to develop and help them achieve their potential. An excellent communicator with a willingness to be flexible to ensure that our clients' needs are met whilst always keeping the Yard operationally effective.
