The New Beacon School is a leading day and boarding prep school for boys aged 2-13, with a co-educational nursery, renowned for its commitment to excellence in education, sport and the arts. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Pre-Prep Teacher to join our Pre-Prep School from September 2026 on a full-time basis.
The New Beacon Pre-Prep provides a nurturing and inspiring environment for boys to continue their exciting journey in education. The focus in Pre-Prep lies in building a solid foundation for boys in their formative years. Our nurturing environment combines academic excellence with the development of essential life skills like resilience, teamwork, and perseverance.
Small class sizes, personalised learning, and specialist teaching in subjects such as Music, ICT, Languages, Swimming and Games ensure every boy is equipped with the tools to grow, explore, and succeed. Through engaging activities and a focus on both academic and personal growth, we lay the groundwork for a bright future.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across all subjects to pupils in Year 1 or Year 2. They will have full responsibility for their class, with academic oversight and pastoral care, helping to nurture and inspire a love of learning in boys as they progress through the School. Outside of lessons, they will contribute to the wider life of the School, getting involved in co-curricular activities and events and pastoral responsibilities.
