Tonbridge School is a dynamic and innovative leader in the education sector, dedicated to delivering exceptional value and service to our clients. We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Commercial and International Director to join our executive team and spearhead our growth initiatives.
This is a newly created and exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to lead and provide strategic direction for Tonbridge’s commercial businesses and to launch our global education initiatives.
Responsibilities
The Commercial and International Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow and enhance existing commercial relationships while identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities. This role will oversee and develop a diverse portfolio of commercial ventures, including the Sports Centre, Recre8, community programmes, functions, events, residential lettings, and other facility hires. They will be responsible for maximising the potential of the School’s world-class facilities, building sustainable income streams that support the School’s long-term success. It will also take a leading role in establishing a new entity focused on working with partners to found Tonbridge Schools around the world.
This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving business growth and fostering strong partnerships. They must demonstrate the creativity and commercial acumen to innovate, alongside a deep commitment to working within the values and ethos of Tonbridge School.
