Have you considered being trained as a Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) and becoming part of Tonbridge & Malling Council's Parking Services team or perhaps you are a current CEO looking for a new challenge? The Civil Enforcement team has recently expanded, offering new opportunities to join us.

Responsibilities:

  • Base at the Council Offices in Kings Hill and work across various locations within the Borough.
  • Assist members of the public and patrol parking areas.
  • Monitor ticket machines and issue Penalty Charge Notices.
  • Carry out patrols on foot and in vehicles.
  • Use a handheld capture device, make concise notes, and deal tactfully with members of the public.
  • Work weekend and evening shifts on a shift basis.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe roadside environment and improving traffic flow, access to homes and businesses, and public transport.

Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills, well organised, and a diplomatic approach.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A courteous, helpful and confident manner.
