Tomsetts Distribution is a well-established general haulage business based in the South East. We are currently recruiting qualified and motivated HGV Driverswith either Category C (Class 2)or Category C+E (Class 1)licences.
We operate a range of local and national general haulage routes, primarily palletised freight, using well-maintained, modern vehicles. This is an opportunity to join a supportive and professional team that values reliability, teamwork, and high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate rigid (Cat C) or articulated (Cat C+E) vehicles.
- Carry out multi-drop or trunking deliveries and collections.
- Maintain accurate records using handheld devices or paperwork.
- Carry out vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and represent the company professionally.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C or C+E HGV licence
- Current Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Good safety awareness and a practical mindset
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in general haulage or palletised freight
- Recently qualified drivers with the right attitude will be considered
