The Position
The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for our digital sales channels. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record whose primary focus will be managing the website and using data to implement improvements that enhance the website journey and customer experiences, in alignment with our commercial strategy and goals. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, growing company and be a key member of the team.
Responsibilities
- Website management and brand consistency
- Responsible for the Shopify website end-to-end: listings, pages, checkout, apps, DNS, theme edits.
- Ensure every product listing is accurate, fully optimised, and visually on-brand.
- Continuously refresh the website design layout and homepage to reflect current campaigns, product launches and events. The site should always feel live and current.
- Keep all ESG, sustainability, and charity pages accurate and up to date; this is a brand priority and must reflect our latest data and commitments.
- Manage Digital Product Passports and ensure all product data is correct and well-presented.
- Audit the website on a daily basis for broken links, outdated content, and conversion blockers.
- Run AB tests on key pages, product pages, homepage, checkout and act on findings.
- Liaise with the marketing & product team to ensure the website is ready for launches & updates.
- Data and analytics
- Responsible for all ecom and marketing channel data Shopify, Klaviyo/Omnisend, Google Analytics 4, Meta, TikTok and bring it together into one coherent weekly picture.
- Build and maintain a weekly trading dashboard that gives the team a clear view of performance across all channels without anyone having to ask for it.
- Analyse acquisition channel performance where customers are coming from, what’s converting, what’s not and present findings with clear recommendations and actions.
- Track and report on conversion rate, AOV, CAC, repeat purchase rate, and email performance as standard weekly metrics.
- Proactively identify trends and anomalies: Is a product selling out? A channel underperforming? a campaign spike? Flag them with solutions before they become problems.
- Use data to drive continuous improvement on the website and across digital channels, not just to report what happened.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Responsible for SEO as part of the ecom plan.
- Technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and content structure.
- Ensure all product listings and key pages are optimised for search visibility.
- Track organic performance in GA4 and report on it weekly.
- Work with the content team to identify SEO opportunities and ensure new content is optimised before it goes live.
Email and performance marketing support
- Support the conversion side of email marketing: analyse Omnisend (Email Marketing Platform) performance, identify underperforming flows, and fix them.
- Pull and interpret data from paid channels (Meta, TikTok) to support the performance marketing function, you are not running the ads, but you own the data that informs if they’re working.
- Implement automations and integrations that reduce manual work and improve the customer journey.
Logistics and inventory data
- Oversee SKU generation and master data management; everything on the website should match what’s in Shopify and at the 3PL.
- Monitor stock levels and flag risks to the relevant team before they affect the website or trading plan.
- Liaise with the buyer and 3PL to ensure inbound stock is reflected accurately and on time.
- Responsible for researching product standards for the regions we are trading in.
- Ensuring compliance in the regions we are trading in: Customs, VAT, Duty, Product safety and Packaging Safety.
- Responsible for managing our returns partner and escalating any issues to the provider.
Essential Criteria Required:
- 2+ years e-commerce and data experience role
- Experience with SEO
- Excellent knowledge of Shopify (Updating listings, theme edits, apps, checkout configuration)
Key Skills
- Experience in: Google Suite, Shopify, Gorgias, Adobe CC and Email Marketing platforms.
- Experience using Agentic AI tools (Claude or similar) to improve workflows and outputs
- Attention to detail, accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent Data Analytics skills.
- Highly motivated and strategic mindset.
- Ability to problem solve and work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with import and export.
- Retail & fashion or lifestyle brand knowledge is desirable.
- Eye for design and brand consistency.
- Experience working in a small, fast-moving team where you own your function end to end.
