To support our customer base in South England, we are looking for a driven and hands-on Field Service Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation—working hands-on with manufactured sensor-based sorting technologies and making a real difference every day.

Your Impact

  • Installing, commissioning, maintenance and repair of sensor-based sorters in TOMRA’s Recycling install base
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences through top class communication and support using various mediums
  • Optimizing the sorting systems/process
  • Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions and services
  • Act as a conduit between our customer base and HQ by providing in-market feedback so that we continuously look for opportunities to further delight our customers

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with good technical understanding (mechanical, electrical and software)
  • Comfortable working with software, systems, and diagnostics tools
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Experience in recycling or industrial processing is a plus
  • Ideally, you are located within a 60-mile radius of London to ensure efficient regional coverage
