For our UK finance team in Leicester, we are looking for a Finance Assistant & Administrator to support daily accounting operations and administrative activities in a dynamic and growing business environment.
As a Finance Assistant & Administrator, you will support the Finance Manager and the wider business with a combination of finance and administrative tasks. You will help ensure that financial processes run accurately and efficiently while maintaining organised records and supporting internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices and matching invoices to purchase orders
- Assisting with supplier payment runs
- Supporting credit control activities
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes
- Supporting external and internal audit activities
- Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
- Processing employee expenses
- Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
- Supporting the shared finance inbox and handling ad hoc tasks
- Supporting the Finance Manager when required
- Providing administrative support for People & Organisation and company fleet administration
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
- Experience using accounting software or ERP systems
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Good communication skills and a structured working style
- AAT qualification completed or currently in progress
- Experience supporting month-end processes
