Location: Billericay, Essex.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities- Process purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely posting
- Assist with sales ledger, including raising invoices and allocating payments
- Perform bank reconciliations and support daily cash management
- Assist with credit control, including chasing outstanding payments
- Support month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and reporting
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or finance role
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using Excel and accounting systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Studying towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA (or interested in doing so)
- Experience in a fast-paced or SME environment
