Tomorrow is looking for an experienced Senior UI / Visual Designer with an impeccable eye for beauty to join a multidisciplinary design consultancy – one of the last proper indie design studios in Shoreditch For 25 years, they’ve been creating boundary-pushing work that occasionally changes the world.
Responsibilities
- Lead the visual design direction for digital products, with a focus on elegant, engaging user interfaces.
- Design intuitive and visually compelling UI systems across mobile, web, and multi-platform experiences.
- Develop high-fidelity visuals, components, and layouts using Figma and other tools.
- Collaborate closely with UX, motion, 3D, and development teams to deliver end-to-end design.
- Ensure brand consistency while elevating the aesthetic across all visual touchpoints.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems that scale across platforms and products.
- Present work to stakeholders and confidently explain your rationale.
- Mentor junior designers and provide guidance across projects and critiques.
- Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices – always pushing for innovation.
- Participate in workshops and cross-functional creative sprints.
Requirements
- Experience in a visual/UI design role, preferably within a digital agency or design studio.
- A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft, attention to detail, and versatility across digital interfaces.
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools (like Principle, After Effects, or Framer).
- Strong understanding of responsive design, layout, hierarchy, colour theory, and typography.
- Experience designing and contributing to component-based design systems.
- Ability to interpret UX wireframes and transform them into high-fidelity, user-focused designs.
- Motion or 3D knowledge is a bonus – even if conceptual.
- Strong communication skills – you can present confidently and collaborate well across disciplines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a hybrid environment.
- Comfortable leading projects and supporting junior team members.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working in product-focused or physical/digital hybrid environments.
- Background in industrial design or spatial thinking is a plus.
- Familiarity with motion design, 3D tools (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.), or Web3 design principles.
