Job Description

*Salary type: £40k
*Job type: Permanent Position
*Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office, Wednesday required)
Tomorrow is on the lookout for a highly creative Midweight Motion Designer with a strong foundation in design and brand to join a small but ambitious brand consultancy working with European tech companies (both B2B and B2C). This is a great opportunity to step into a growing team where motion plays a vital role in elevating brand stories across digital channels.
They're trying to see who is on the market and the calibre of candidates that could be available to join them whilst this role is tentative and awaiting to be greenlit, we'll know for sure in September, but ready to start the process.
The Role
Reporting into a Senior Designer moving into a CD role, you’ll be the go-to for all things motion. You’ll work across multiple projects at once, designing and animating digital-first brand assets that bring ideas to life; whether that’s social content, brand films, or motion-led campaigns. While After Effects will be your core tool, you’ll also use Figma and other digital design platforms to support design tasks, from tying up brand guidelines to delivering smaller design outputs like social posts.
This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you’ll help lift projects through creative motion design, while also contributing to design thinking and execution. You’ll be working in a close-knit team of strategists, designers, and creative directors, with plenty of scope to learn, grow, and have a real voice in the creative process.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Motion Designer, ideally in a brand or creative agency environment
- Strong design sensibility with a solid understanding of branding and visual storytelling
- Expertise in After Effects (Cinema4D or Premiere Pro experience is a bonus)
- Working knowledge of Figma and digital design workflows
- Experience producing motion for social and digital platforms
- Background working with tech clients (B2B or B2C) is highly preferred
- Someone comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team
- A creative problem-solver who’s equally happy taking ownership of larger projects or jumping in on smaller design tasks
Benefits
- £40k–£45k salary
- Hybrid working, 3 days in the office (Wednesday required, other days flexible)
- Flexible working hours (8 hours per day)
- 2 duvet days per year in addition to annual leave
- Collaborative, light-hearted culture with regular socials
- Paid design task as part of the interview process
