A brilliant global creative agency is looking for a Group Operations Director to help shape the way its international studios work, grow and thrive. This is a meaningful senior role for someone who understands the reality of agency life. The pace, the moving parts, the commercial pressure and the care it takes to keep creative teams doing their best work.
As Group Operations Director, you will bring clarity across margin, resourcing, delivery and team development, supporting studios across London, New York, Los Angeles and Melbourne.
The OpportunityThis role sits right at the centre of the agency. You will be the connective tissue between finance, creative, client services, people and project teams, making sure the business can deliver brilliant work in a way that is commercially healthy and sustainable. You will help protect margins, improve project health, support smarter scoping and build clearer, more consistent ways of working across global studios. There is plenty to shape here. You will mentor and develop a small operations and resource team, support the move towards tools such as Forecast, and bring the kind of calm, confident leadership that helps people feel supported through change. Paprika knowledge would also be useful.
About YouYou will have already held a senior operations leadership role within an agency environment, ideally with exposure to multiple studios, markets or time zones. You are confident with board-level reporting, commercial conversations, resource planning, project profitability and senior stakeholder relationships. Just as importantly, you are a thoughtful people leader. You know when to guide, when to challenge and when to listen. You will enjoy building trust across teams and creating systems that help people do great work, rather than adding process for the sake of it.
