Tomorrow is on the lookout for an experienced Design Director with an understanding of environmental graphics, wayfinding, signage and place branding to join a multidisciplinary creative studio that blends art, design, and storytelling to transform spaces and experiences. Working across physical and digital mediums, they collaborate with brands, architects, and cultural institutions to create immersive installations, bespoke artworks, and brand expressions that connect emotionally with audiences. Their work often bridges the gap between commercial environments and contemporary art, aiming to inspire, engage, and leave a lasting impact.

Your Role

As Design Director, you\’ll lead multiple projects across various workstreams while managing a team of 3-5 designers. This key role anchors the creative team and helps drive the agency\’s vision forward. If you have standout work in environmental design, retail, pop-ups, activations, wayfinding, signage, or placemaking, this could be the role for you!

What We\’re Looking For

  • Creating next level pitch documents, ensuring that they are creatively cohesive and easily accessible to the team for future reference
  • Researching key opportunities to further our reach in the public art space and formulating submissions
  • Providing creative oversight on a number of projects and workstreams alongside the Global Creative Director, liaising with them at key checkpoints for input and approval
  • Forming strong client relationships that encourage return to future projects in the studio
  • Helping to build upon the \’activate\’ offering of the studio as a new revenue stream and pitch it to clients
  • Taking on feedback related to previous projects, identifying key learnings and objectives to ensure upcoming projects are as creatively engaging and profitable as possible

Requirements

  • Developing high-impact pitch decks that are creatively aligned and easily accessible for future team use
  • Identifying opportunities in the public art space and crafting compelling submissions to expand our presence
  • Overseeing creative direction across multiple projects and workstreams in collaboration with the Global Creative Director, aligning at key milestones for input and sign-off
  • Building strong, lasting client relationships that drive repeat business and long-term studio partnerships
  • Contributing to the growth of the studio\’s \’activate\’ offering, shaping it into a new revenue stream and presenting it to potential clients
  • Reviewing feedback from past projects to extract key insights and apply learnings that enhance the creativity and profitability of future work
