RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Senior Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and driving opportunities for account growth across Tommy’s existing client base, while also uncovering opportunities within the wider Zeal agency group to introduce Tommy’s services to new brands and teams. Alongside leading multiple projects at once, you’ll work closely with the wider Tommy team to shape strategic proposals and deliver first-class campaigns that strengthen long-term client partnerships, drive commercial success, and support Tommy’s continued growth. You will be a key point of contact for both clients and the internal teams. You must have the ability to create and act on new opportunities for Tommy while maintaining strong, influential, and collaborative relationships with both clients and colleagues.
You will be expected to:
- Develop a thorough understanding of our clients’ marketing objectives, strategies, processes and commercial goals.
- Act as the main client contact across a roster of accounts, building strong, trusted relationships while confidently managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing client partnerships, as well as opportunities within the wider Zeal agency group to introduce Tommy’s services to new brands and teams.
- Intake client briefs and translate them into clear internal strategic, creative and production briefs.
- Lead project scoping, timelines, budgets and resource management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest creative standard.
- Gain client alignment on project objectives, approaches, scopes and budgets whilst operating with Tommy’s best commercial interests in mind.
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and delivery plans, working with Production teams to ensure projects are appropriately resourced and managed efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with Strategy, Creative and Production teams throughout the strategic and creative development process.
- Maintain accurate internal and client-facing finance trackers across multiple projects and accounts, monitoring incoming and outgoing revenue, third-party costs and overall account profitability.
- Act as a social and digital expert within the agency, staying ahead of platform trends, emerging behaviours and opportunities across TikTok, TikTok Shop, Meta and other key channels, while confidently sharing insights, recommendations and best practices with both clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to financial forecasting and support the Managing Director in achieving account revenue targets and commercial objectives.
- Coordinate and lead internal and client-facing meetings, ensuring all project statuses, actions, timelines and deliverables are clearly communicated and tracked.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of social and digital platforms including TikTok, TikTok Shop, Meta and emerging platform trends, with the ability to advise clients on how social can drive business and brand impact.
- Bring a strong understanding of integrated campaigns, social-first thinking and digital production workflows across content, video, web and experiential projects.
- Evaluate ongoing account performance and proactively recommend improvements to ways of working, campaign effectiveness and client growth opportunities.
- Stay up to date with developments across marketing, advertising, social media and consumer trends, ideally with experience working across FMCG brands and fast-paced consumer campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 or more years working at a social or creative agency.
- Seasoned experience in social media within an agency environment.
- Proven track record in delivering against commercial targets.
- Strong portfolio of work on integrated advertising campaigns and interactive experiences including web, mobile, experiential, social media activations and video content.
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to build persuasive proposals.
- A deep understanding and awareness of creative and project development and experience tying project goals to business goals.
- Strong organisational, conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for making great creative work.
- Positive interpersonal, communication and team-player skills.
