Overview
The Supervisor plays a key role in achieving brand standards in our Tommy Hilfiger stores. They lead by example, embrace the entrepreneurial spirit, and inspire their teams through passion for the brands. The role focuses on delivering great customer service, managing store operations, and supporting the management team in achieving store goals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient running of the shop floor to achieve high levels of customer service, sales, and profit.
- Support the management team in personnel, product & merchandising functions, business processes, and results for the store.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
- Clearly communicate marketing and sales promotions to staff.
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team and delivering an exemplary store journey for customers.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and colleagues with fairness and consistency.
- Support the team in delivering the business strategy and ensure consistent product knowledge and store maintenance training.
- Achieve company standards for personal sales results (sales vs budgets, sales per hour, units per transaction).
- Perform manager-on-duty functions and manage opening/closing of the store and the sales floor.
- Focus staff on building quality relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ensure staff accountability in building a repeat customer base by providing excellent service.
- Ensure visual merchandising and back-room practices are followed; continually review for consistency.
- Collaborate with the management team to build a talent pool for key positions and potential successors.
About You
- Previous supervisory or specialist experience within a premium or luxury brand.
- People management experience with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- A team player who recognises and celebrates contributions and achievements.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to promote positive behavioral change.
- Comfort with change and the ability to adapt quickly and work with pace.
- Energetic, authentic, with a clear presence on the shop floor.
- Proactive in finding in-store solutions and taking initiative.
