Concession Manager at Tommy Hilfiger, Cambridge, United Kingdom. The role focuses on delivering first-class store experience, leading by example, and driving sales and standards across the store to reflect the Tommy Hilfiger and CALVIN KLEIN brands.
Responsibilities Include
- Partner with Area Manager to build business opportunities and achieve company standards and goals: sales and wage budgets, sales per hour (SPH), units per transaction (UPT), conversion rate, wage and expense control, shrinkage, mystery shops, store audits and profitability.
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with others to grow the business or improve performance.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
- Perform Manager-on-Duty functions; manage store opening/closing and the sales floor.
- Ensure adherence to door-to-floor best practices, visual merchandising directives, and standards for sales floor and back room; review standards to ensure clear and consistent execution.
- Manage daily sales, payroll, controllable expenses, goals, and company initiatives; align activities to meet business goals.
- Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results.
- Lead weekly management meetings and participate in regional meetings.
- Set challenging but attainable goals with a focus on service quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Coordinate appropriate action plans while considering consequences and budget decisions.
- Communicate with staff daily on individual sales goals and other key performance indicators to deliver unparalleled service and achieve targets.
- Assist manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, hiring and orientation processes; recruit store personnel with diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
- Own training and development of employees; ensure proper orientation and role training.
- Provide training and coaching for employees (daily, weekly, monthly) with appropriate documentation.
About You
- Extensive experience in connecting to consumers in a brand retailer is essential.
- Experience with retail operations, budgeting, planning, sales and people management.
- Previous people management experience with the ability to resolve conflicts and unproductive disagreements.
- Effective communicator with the ability to cultivate belonging.
- Collaborative mindset to win and recognize the contributions and achievements of others.
- Courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
- Adaptable and able to work at pace.
