About the role

Our stores are the life and soul of our business. The Centre Visual Merchandiser plays a key role in maintaining brand identity, promoting product, and delivering an elevated standard of display and visual presentation of windows and in-store areas. The role supports the Store Managers and VM Co-ordinator to ensure brand guidelines are followed and market directions are incorporated.

Responsibilities Include

  • Support the management of the visual proposition by promoting the brand merchandise and delivering an exceptional standard of visual presentation inside the store and in the windows.
  • Be aware of sales budgets, mystery shops, VM visits and model store concepts.
  • Install all window schemes to an excellent standard and maintain daily.
  • Style all mannequins in line with guidelines and market direction.
  • Participate in staff meetings and keep the team up to date with moves and changes.
  • Implement brand visual guidelines with Store Manager support, considering market-specific direction.
  • Monitor and support the Store Managers with VM presentation budgeting and reporting to VM HQ as needed.
  • Collaborate with VM Co-Ordinator and Store Managers to map floor space and location of collections, considering option counts for new and existing product.
  • Assist with pre-planning, delivery, and execution of SALE and Model Store activities per market guidelines with VM Co-Ordinator and Store Managers.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to communicate effectively with customers and support selling.
  • Support replenishment of product onto the sales floor by the store team.
  • Assist in training the store team on visual execution and standards.
  • Support VM Co-Ordinator in execution, coaching and training of brand and seasonal guidelines within store.
  • Walk the windows daily to identify presentation needs and product challenges.
  • Collaborate with key department managers to achieve best VM standards for the store.
  • Communicate planned activities to key stakeholders and report back to VM HQ.
  • Support the delivery of marketing events in the location.
  • Develop strong relationships with other Brand VM and Field VM teams and contribute to HO VM meetings where necessary.
  • Assist the VM Co-Ordinator by contributing to Model Store guidelines.

About YOU

  • You’ll have retail experience with the ability to follow brand guidelines and understand the basics of Visual Merchandising.
  • You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
  • You’ll be a creative, commercially aware and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels.
  • You will work well with change and be able to adapt quickly with pace.
