The predicted salary is between 15 - 20 Β£ per hour.

We are seeking talented and experienced freelance chefs to work alongside our core team at Tommy Banks Hospitality. This role requires a passionate and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can represent the Tommy Banks Group with excellence. This opening is available for chefs across the country. TB Hospitality is based in North Yorkshire with our event work focused in premium hospitality spaces in stadiums from London to the North East of England. The job will include travelling with the team, though for more local applicants there is an opportunity for further shifts within our CPU (Central Production Unit).

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food to specifications in high-volume and varied kitchen environments
  • Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation at all times
  • Assist with setup, pack-down, and general organisation of the kitchen
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Support with stock rotation, deliveries, and equipment cleaning as needed
  • Communicate effectively with fellow team members and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture
  • Represent the Tommy Banks Group professionally in a customer-facing environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or catering environment
  • Ability to work efficiently, cleanly, and under pressure
  • Reliable team player with a positive attitude
  • Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Level 2 Food Hygiene & Allergen Awareness required)
  • Experience with fine dining or Michelin kitchens
  • Familiarity with seasonal British ingredients.
