Introduction
Work alongside experienced builders to develop skills in bricklaying and gain exposure to other home improvement activities. A CSCS card is required, and training will be provided upon successful completion of the interview process with Skills Group.
About the Employer
T.A Brickwork is seeking an Apprentice Bricklayer to work on construction sites across the South West. Full training and on-site supervision will be provided throughout your apprenticeship.
What You'll Do
Work duties will include:
- Safe working practices
- Labouring
- Setting out work areas
- Understanding and interpreting information
- Preparing mortar by hand
- Using specific tools required for tasks
- Measuring materials and cutting
- Keeping all work areas clean and tidy
- Manual lifting
Training Outcome
- On completion of your Level 2 Apprenticeship with T.A Brickwork, an opportunity to apply for a full time post may be offered to the right learner
- Alternatively, you could go on to complete your Level 3 in Bricklaying, or, go on to be self-employed and start your own company
