When you work at Tommies, you’ll be doing one of the most important jobs in the world: nurturing, protecting and helping children grow into well-balanced, happy and self-assured adults.
Duties:
- Collecting food from main nursery kitchen and delivering to different locations.
- Safely operating commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to complete daily delivery routes.
- Deliver products efficiently to various Nursery locations, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road.
- Drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions.
Requirements:
- Full and Clean UK Driving Licence.
- You MUST also be over the age of 25.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to organise tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
