5 hours per week working Monday - Friday, 51 weeks a year

Working pattern: Flexibility required between hours of 9.30am and 12.30pm

We are Tommies Childcare. Since 1998, we have provided exciting and memorable early years experiences for children aged 0 – 5 years. When you work at Tommies, you’ll be doing one of the most important jobs in the world: nurturing, protecting and helping children grow into well-balanced, happy and self-assured adults.

Duties:

  • Collecting food from main nursery kitchen and delivering to different locations.
  • Safely operating commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to complete daily delivery routes.
  • Deliver products efficiently to various Nursery locations, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Complete checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road.
  • Drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions.

Requirements:

  • Full and Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • You MUST also be over the age of 25.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to organise tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
