Our long established logistics client based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis. They have won a new contract and require Class 1 Tramper Drivers, weekly, Monday to Friday, ongoing all year round. Weekend shifts are also available if required.
Job Description:
- Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work, box trailers, no handballing, timed deliveries.
- Clear communication is required with the transport team.
- Various start times available ranging from Days 04:00 am to 08:00 am, with various shift patterns available over the 7 Days, Monday to Sunday.
Licence requirements:
- HGV Class 1 Licence
- Up to date CPC for your Class 1
- Up to date Digi card for your Class 1
You Must:
- Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Be punctual
- Maintain a smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans etc.)
- Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
- Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift
Salary:
- Days per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE), £18.50 ph (Umbrella)
- Saturdays per hour: £20.00 ph (PAYE), £22.50 ph (Umbrella)
- Sundays per hour: £22.00 ph (PAYE), £24.50 ph (Umbrella)
- Night Out Allowance - £25.00 per night out
