Our long established logistics client based in Derby, Derbyshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis. They have won a new contract and require Class 1 Drivers, weekly, Monday to Friday, ongoing all year round work.
Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work, box trailers, RDC trailer swaps, no handballing, timed deliveries, so clear communication is required with the transport team.
Various start times available ranging from Days 04:00 am to 08:00 am and Nights from 16:00 pm onwards, priority at this time is the day shifts.
Licence requirements:
- HGV Class 1 Licence
- Up to date CPC for your Class 1
- Up to date Digi card for your Class 1
You Must:
- Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Be punctual
- Maintain a smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans etc.)
- Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
- Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift
Salary:
- Days per hour: £15.45 ph (PAYE, pay rate set by our client)
- Nights per hour: £18.03 ph (PAYE, pay rate set by our client)
