HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers - Easy Depot to Depot Trailer Swaps

Start Date: Immediate

Our long established logistics client based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis. They have won a new contract and require Class 1 Drivers (Tramping), weekly, Monday to Friday, ongoing all year round. Weekend work is also available, so if you prefer Wednesday to Sunday, these working patterns are also available.

Job Description:

  • Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work, box trailers, RDC Trailer swaps, no handballing, timed deliveries.
  • Clear communication is required with the transport team.
  • Various start times available ranging from Days 04:00 am to 08:00 am and Nights from 16:00 pm onwards, with priority at this time being the day shifts.

Licence requirements:

  • HGV Class 1 Licence
  • Up to date CPC for your Class 1
  • Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

  • Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
  • Be punctual
  • Maintain a smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans etc.)
  • Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
  • Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

  • Days per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE, pay rate set by our client)
  • Nights per hour: £18.03 ph (PAYE, pay rate set by our client)
  • Night Out Allowance - £25 per night
  • Overnight Parking may be paid for but must be pre-agreed daily
