Class 1 HGV Driver - Nights
Pay: £18.40 - £34.50 per hour

We are looking to recruit Class 1 Drivers to work with a leading retail company in Shirebrook based near Mansfield Nottinghamshire.
Job Description Overview:
- This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently across multiple various locations, requiring a commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Performing regular vehicle safety checks.
- Managing delivery paperwork correctly.
- Collaborating with the transport office and loads.
- Working as part of a 2 Man Store Delivery Team alongside one of their own drivers.
- Driving duties plus helping with cages for the deliveries into stores and bringing back empty cages.
- Long night shifts between 15-21 hours with the shift pattern of 4 on 2 off, overtime available for a 5th day.
- No branded clothes to be worn at all times.
- Onsite parking is available.
- Ongoing work with temp to perm opportunities if the position is right for you.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (C+E).
- Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
- Newly passed drivers welcome.
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence (No DR, DD, DG, IN10, TT Codes).
- No previous experience is required.
You Must:
- Be professional, reliable & punctual in all shifts.
- Have good problem-solving skills for route changes/delays.
- Maintain high attention levels for paperwork and vehicle checks.
- Be a team player.
- Have a customer-focused approach during work deliveries.
- Not wear branded clothing.
Salary Pay:
- Weekdays - £18.40 (Nights)
- Weekends - £23.00 (Nights)
- Overtime Pay (5th Shift) £34.50 GBP hourly (Nights)
