Our long established logistics client based near Nottingham has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description:

  • Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving Tramping work across the UK to Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site, plus some back hauling may be required.
  • Staying in touch with the transport team is also a vital part of this work.
  • Good clean work, Trailer Swaps Only and no handballing.
  • You start Saturday morning and then run back on the Sunday with late PM finishes expected.

Licence requirements:

  • HGV Class 1 Licence (Could also suit newly passed).
  • Up to date CPC for your Class 1.
  • Up to date Digi card for your Class 1.

You Must:

  • Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic.
  • Be punctual.
  • Maintain a smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans etc.).
  • Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard.
  • Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift.

Salary:

  • £18.00 per hour on a Saturday and £20.00 per hour on a Sunday.
  • Night out allowance of £25.00 per night out.
