HGV Class 2 Driver Tramping Work
Start Date: Immediate
Our long established logistics client based near Derby, Derbyshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 2 Tramper Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.
Job Description:
- Work involves Class 2 HGV Driving Tramping work across the UK to Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site.
- Some back hauling may be required, so staying in touch with the transport team is also a vital part of this work.
- Our client has various depots all over the UK; some of your night outs could be at the depots where you have better facilities.
- Start times will range from 04:00 am to 08:00 am and you will be doing nights out all week.
Licence requirements:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- Up to date CPC for your Class 2
- Up to date Digi card for your Class 2
You Must:
- Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Be punctual
- Maintain a smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans etc.)
- Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
- Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift
Salary:
- Days per hour: £15.00 ph (PAYE), £17.00 ph (Umbrella inclusive of Holiday Pay)
- Night out allowance of £25.00 per night out
- Overnight parking expenses may be paid but will need prior approval before doing this
