Our long established logistics client based near Alfreton Derbyshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 2 Tramper Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Work involves Class 2 HGV Driving Tramping work across the UK to Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site, plus some back hauling may be required, so staying in touch with the transport team is also a vital part of this work. Our client also has various depots all over the UK, some of your night outs could be at the depots where you have better facilities as well. Start times will range from 0400am to 0800am and you will be doing nights out all week.

Licence requirements:

  • HGV Class 2 Licence
  • Up to date CPC for your Class 2
  • Up to date Digi card for your Class 2

You Must:

  • Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
  • Be punctual
  • Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
  • Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
  • Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

  • Days per hour: £15.00 ph (PAYE), £17.00 ph (Umbrella inclusive of Holiday Pay)
  • Night out allowance of £25.00 per night out
  • Overnight parking expenses may be paid but will need prior approval before doing this
