Overview
HGV Class 1 Driver – Night Trunking. Our long established logistics client based in Newark Upon Trent, Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.
Job Description
Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving trunking work across the UK to RDCs, manufacturing sites or similar; some back hauling may be required. Staying in touch with the transport team is a vital part of this work. This is ongoing Monday to Friday work, start times around 1700 each evening.
Licence requirements
- HGV Class 1 Licence (Must be over 23 years old and have a minimum of 2 years on your licence)
- Up to date CPC for your Class 1
- Up to date Digi card for your Class 1
Requirements / Personal attributes
- Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Be punctual
- Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans)
- Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
- Good communication skills are essential as you might need to be contactable throughout the shift
Salary
- Monday to Friday Nights per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE), £18.50 ph (Umbrella)
- Saturday: £18.00 (PAYE), £20.00 (Umbrella)
- Sunday: £20.00 (PAYE), £22.00 (Umbrella)
- The above rates are either PAYE or Umbrella; please see above accordingly
