About the Role
Our long established logistics client based in Alfreton, Derbyshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Drive Class 1 HGVs performing trunking work across the UK to manufacturing sites or similar locations.
- Some back hauling may be required.
- Stay in touch with the transport team as a vital part of the role.
Licences & Qualifications
- HGV Class 1 Licence
- Up to date CPC for Class 1
- Up to date Digi card for Class 1
You Must
- Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Be punctual
- Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans)
- Keep the vehicle clean and to a good standard
- Good communication skills are essential as you may be contactable throughout the shift
Salary
- Days per hour: £15.00 ph (PAYE), £17.50 ph (Umbrella)
- Night per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE), £18.50 ph (Umbrella)
- Days/Nights – Saturdays: £18.00 (PAYE), £20.00 (Umbrella)
- Days/Nights – Sundays: £20.00 (PAYE), £22.00 (Umbrella)
- The above rates are either PAYE or Umbrella; please see above accordingly
