Tom Boswell Tree Services is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arboriculture Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed tree surveys, assessing tree health and safety, and providing expert advice on tree management and preservation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive tree surveys and inspections.
  2. Prepare detailed reports on tree health, risks, and recommendations for maintenance or removal.
  3. Perform risk assessments and support onsite staff to achieve targets.
  4. Advise clients on tree conservation and management practices.
  5. Collaborate with other environmental professionals and stakeholders.
  6. Carry out tree work estimates and quotes using company software.

Personal Specification

Qualifications

  1. Formal training and development in arboriculture (Level 3 or above).
  2. Strong knowledge of tree species and health indicators.
  3. Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  4. Physical fitness for climbing and rescue operations (preferred).
  5. Certifications in chainsaw operation and tree climbing (preferred but not essential).
