As the wizard behind the curtain, you'll ensure our critical systems are always reliable, available, and performing like a dream. You'll implement smart automation, set up sharp monitoring, and respond superâspeedily to incidents to keep everything running smoothly. You'll collaborate with dev, infra, and security teams to balance new features with unbeatable stability.
What you'll be getting up to:
- System reliability & availability: guardianship of uptime, meeting SLAs and leading incident management.
- Monitoring & alerting: setting up and maintaining monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
- Incident response: quick resolution of incidents and rootâcause analysis.
- Automation: automating repetitive tasks using Terraform, Git, TeamCity, etc.
- Capacity planning: forecasting demand and optimizing resource usage.
- Performance optimisation: tuning databases, load and stress tests.
- Infrastructure: managing AWS cloud resources, costâeffective scaling, and disaster recovery.
- Collaboration: working with development teams to embed reliability into new features.
- Security & compliance: weaving best practices into infrastructure.
- Documentation: writing clear, concise docs for infrastructure, procedures, runbooks.
