As a Senior Platform Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the team. You’ll bring experience and opinions to the table, contribute to planning in line with our roadmap, and help guide the development of scalable, high-performance solutions in a newly-formed team.
You will be involved in the technical direction of the team and involved in planning and delivering in-line with our roadmap.
A key part of the role is to make sure that our products and solutions maintain a great player experience. Taking into consideration user experience, accessibility, building a platform to help our teams build our websites.

Sounds great! What will I be doing?
Work with a team of developers, supportinginnovation through performance and reliability. Actively participating, contributing as part of the team to deliver core functionality as part of the roadmap. Engaging with senior stakeholders across various departments, understanding their needs and delivering impactful technical and procedural solutions. Working with other teams to develop collaborative ways of working that make better products, consolidate processes and improve delivery timelines. Improving the technical landscape with the focus on observability.
What will I be doing (but in bullet points)
- Working on our large re-platforming project migrating from legacy .NET MVC to .NET Core
- Proposing guidance and patterns to help build good products. You will be involved in making decisions of which tooling and frameworks we use.
- Interacting with .NET Framework MVC code and migrating it to .NET Core.
- Building out documentation to help other developers when making changes.
- Advocating use of modern patterns and practices.
- Working through the lifecycle of key technical projects from inception to deployment.
- Contribute to the planning of technical projects and review software design and implementations, promoting an environment of continuous improvement. And pragmatism.
- Engage actively in designing and developing intricate technical solutions.
- Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented software solutions. Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and quality assurance testing to ensure software reliability and scalability.

What does good look like for us?
Knowledge and experience we need you to have…
- Excellent knowledge of .NET Framework MVC and .NET Core.
- An understanding and some experience of implementing front-end applications.
- Proven experience in building scalable, reliable and secure web applications using modern techniques.
- Estimating complex technical stories and breaking them down.
- Git knowledge particularly around release branches and git tags.
- Prior experience developing solutions and integrating with legacy systems.
- Pragmatic and able to adapt working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with AWS or cloud native tech and event driven architecture.
We’d love you to have experience in these areas, but it’s not essential
- Understanding of working in regulated space.
- Demonstrates a strong appreciation for player safety and responsible gaming principles, embedding them into technical decisions and feature development.
- Understands the importance of building systems that support regulatory compliance, transparency, and harm prevention.
- Champions a \”safeplay\” mindset by considering the impact of new features on player wellbeing and advocating for safeguards where appropriate.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
