We’re looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner – Marketing to join our team and become the trusted financial partner to our Marketing leadership. You’ll be at the heart of how we plan, invest and measure our brand and acquisition activity, helping to unlock growth while maintaining a strong cost control environment. This is a high-impact role with real visibility across the business and senior leadership.
The team reports to the Head of Finance – tombola and works closely with the Marketing Director and their leadership team. You’ll be part of the wider tombola Finance team, supporting multiple markets and playing a key role in the forecasting and performance cycle. You’ll sit right at the intersection of Finance and Marketing — providing insight, challenge and clarity on where we invest and why.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as the trusted finance business partner to the tombola Marketing team and wider UKI Finance function
- Partner with the Head of Finance and Marketing Director, with a focus on marketing investment and performance
- Provide insight and constructive challenge on marketing spend and investment decisions
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders
- Lead the budget and quarterly forecast process for tombola marketing, covering brand, acquisition and value‑in
- Ensure Marketing teams are fully engaged in the P&L impact of their budgets
- Maintain a strong cost control environment, including ownership of the monthly close process for marketing spend
- Improve the measurement and understanding of ROI across all marketing investment
- Identify efficiency improvements and cost‑saving opportunities, supporting negotiations with third‑party suppliers
- Work cross‑functionally to improve how we measure, track and optimise ROI
- Identify risks and opportunities to revenue based on brand and acquisition performance
- Deliver high‑quality analysis and commentary for monthly and quarterly Business Reviews to the UKI CEO and CFO
- Build strong relationships across the wider Finance function
What we’re looking for
- A commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with non‑finance stakeholders and influencing big investment decisions
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis
- Proven business partnering experience with senior, non‑finance stakeholders
- The ability to simplify complex data into clear insight
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- A curious, improvement‑focused mindset
- Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, evolving commercial environment
