At tombola, our finance team plays a critical role in shaping how we grow — helping us make smart, player-first commercial decisions that balance performance with long-term sustainability. We’re now looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner – Commercial to join us as a trusted advisor to our Commercial leadership, helping to drive revenue, optimise generosity, and provide the insight that underpins every major decision we make. This is a highly visible, commercially focused role, sitting at the heart of how tombola performs across all markets and products.
The team reports to the Head of Finance – tombola and works closely with the Commercial Director and their leadership team. You’ll be part of the wider tombola Finance team, playing a key role across multiple markets, and acting as a vital link between Finance, Commercial and BI. You’ll be instrumental in forecasting, performance reporting and commercial decision-making — providing insight, challenge and clarity to help drive growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the trusted finance business partner to the tombola Commercial team and wider UKI Finance function.
- Partner closely with the Head of Finance and Commercial Director, with a focus on revenue and generosity performance.
- Provide insight and constructive challenge on revenue performance across multiple markets and products.
- Develop a deep understanding of our generosity offering, how it performs, and how it impacts both players and commercial outcomes.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders.
- Own the budget and quarterly forecast for tombola revenue across all markets and verticals.
- Lead on revenue and KPI reporting, working closely with BI and Commercial to highlight performance, trends, risks and opportunities.
- Improve the measurement and understanding of generosity spend, supporting more efficient and effective investment.
- Update and report on latest revenue expectations, aligned with current trading vs budget.
- Identify risks and opportunities based on performance and KPI trends.
- Deliver high-quality analysis and commentary for monthly and quarterly Business Reviews to the UKI CEO and CFO.
- Build strong relationships across the wider Finance function.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who combines strong financial rigour with confident commercial partnering. You’ll bring:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability.
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis.
- Proven business partnering experience with senior, non-finance stakeholders.
- The ability to simplify complex information and turn it into clear insight.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- A curious mindset with confidence to challenge and improve.
