The Head of Group Acquisition Marketing plays a pivotal role in supporting responsible growth across all the markets in which we operate. This role leads our organic and paid acquisition activity end‑to‑end, managing an annual budget of over £20m and driving both the volume and long‑term value of new depositing players. A strong focus on data, insight and experimentation will ensure acquisition strategies are effective, measurable and continuously improving.
Working as part of the Group Marketing and Commercial leadership team, the role partners closely with colleagues across Brand, Growth and International, while collaborating with teams throughout tombola and the wider Flutter group.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and developing our acquisition team – coaching and supporting specialists in Paid Social & Referral, Search, Programmatic & Online Media, and Martech to create an inclusive environment where people can thrive.
- Setting and delivering acquisition strategy – developing insight‑led strategies across all channels, aligned to business objectives and player needs, and continuously optimising in light of industry trends, emerging opportunities and new technologies.
- Managing CPA and ROI – embedding robust tracking and reporting to monitor cost per acquisition and return on investment, guiding optimisation decisions based on performance data and insight.
- Shaping marketing and advertising technology – working with the UKI Marketing Technology team to define future needs, select tools and platforms that improve measurement, attribution, optimisation and investment decision‑making.
- Driving conversion rate optimisation (CRO) – owning the CRO strategy across acquisition journeys, using testing and experimentation to improve click‑through and conversion rates, and advising senior leaders on all aspects of digital customer experience.
- Collaborating across product and technology – ensuring campaign creative, landing pages and user journeys are optimised for a seamless and engaging experience for new players.
- Using AI, ML and automation to improve performance – exploring and implementing processes, personalisation and targeting automation that add value.
What we’re looking for
- Significant experience in acquisition marketing across organic and paid channels, ideally within online gaming, gambling or a similarly regulated industry.
- A strong track record of managing large acquisition budgets and delivering profitable growth.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing channels and supporting systems.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating high‑performing teams.
- A genuine interest in user acquisition, CRO and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
