Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning & Hygiene
  • Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, and dishes throughout service.
  • Keep all kitchen surfaces, floors, and bins clean and tidy in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Assist with deep cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment on a scheduled basis.
  • Support for Kitchen Operations
  • Help chefs and prep teams by ensuring they have clean equipment and a safe, organized work area.
  • Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and maintain waste disposal areas.
  • Replenish hand towels, soap, cleaning products, and other kitchen consumables.
  • Stock & Deliveries
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries.
  • Help store food and supplies correctly and safely, following food hygiene standards.
  • Notify senior staff of any shortages, damaged stock, or equipment issues.
  • Health & Safety Compliance
  • Follow all food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations and practices.
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly with proper PPE.
  • Report any hazards, maintenance issues, or accidents immediately to management.
