Responsibilities:
- Greeting Guests: Warmly welcoming guests as they enter the restaurant, making them feel comfortable and valued.
- Managing Reservations: Taking and confirming reservations, either by phone or in person.
- Seating Guests: Assisting guests in finding their tables and ensuring they are seated promptly.
- Managing Waitlist: Keeping track of guests on the waitlist and providing accurate wait time estimates.
- Assisting with Side Work: Helping with tasks like clearing tables, folding silverware, or restocking supplies.
- Answering Questions: Providing information about the restaurant, menu, and special events.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the hostess station and lobby area organized and clean.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience
- Strong hospitality and guest service skills
