We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling materials efficiently, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties

  • Assisting in the unloading of deliveries from HGV trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate manual handling techniques
  • Reporting discrepancies, shortages, or damages to the supervisor promptly
  • Handling materials, including loading and unloading goods from lorries and storage areas
  • Organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation
  • Conducting quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times during daily operations

Qualifications

  • Experience in a warehouse environment or logistics role is preferred
  • Knowledge of materials handling equipment, particularly forklift operation, is highly desirable
