We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Roofer to join our team in Wellingborough. This is not a general roofing role; applicants must have at least one year of hands-on experience installing solar PV systems. This position is ideal for someone who understands the specific requirements of solar roofing, including above-roof, in-roof, and flat roof installations. This is a full-time subcontractor role or PAYE offering consistent work, stability, and the opportunity to build a long-term career in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems on pitched and flat roofs
- Carry out in-roof solar installations with precision and efficiency
- Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety regulations
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Safely operate hand and power tools used in solar installations
- Handle and install solar panels, mounting systems, and related equipment
