Job Description:

HGV Class 1 Driver Steel work – Temp to Perm

Location: Scunthorpe

Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts Only and days shifts with a couple of nights out available

Contract: 12-week temp to perm

Pay: £17.42 - £21.52 per hour permanent

Hours - min 50 guaranteed

Our client, a leading steel manufacturer, is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join their transport team. This is a guaranteed, long-term opportunity with the chance to move into a permanent role after the initial temporary period.

Key Duties:

  • Transport steel products safely and efficiently to customer sites
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork
  • Ensure compliance with all road transport legislation and company procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills
