Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and attention to detail. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working with various tools and materials. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair compensation for your expertise. Responsibilities * Fabricate and weld structural steel to engineering drawings * Carry out MIG welding to a high standard * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Assemble and prepare steel components for production * Use fabrication tools and machinery safely and effectively * Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines * Maintain a clean and safe working environment * Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets Skills * Proven experience in welding and fabrication (structural steel preferred) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience with MIG welding (coded welding advantageous) * Strong attention to detail and quality of work * Good understanding of health & safety in a fabrication environment * Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team * Flexibility to work overtime when required * £16 PH Temp to Perm * Varied shift pattern available. to suit the candidate. 6- 2 Monday -Friday, 2pm to midnight Monday to Thursday, long weekend. Or days e.g. 7- 3pm, Monday to Friday * Permanent position and career progression This role is ideal for individuals committed to craftsmanship in metalwork, eager to develop their skills further within a professional setting
