We’re working with a busy transport company looking for an experienced Trampers to join their team. This role involves tramping Monday to Friday and requires drivers to be comfortable driving in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a truck to various locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Deliver unattended trailers to locations
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues
Required Skills and Experience:
- C+E licence entitlement, valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- No more than 6 points on your licence (no DD or major endorsements)
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Ability to operate various types of trucks
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
