Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and skilled individual to join our team as a a driver .
This role involves operating commercial vehicles to drive to Inpost lockers all over the UK changing the batteries and screens.
The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to perform basic maintenance tasks with full training given.
This position offers a temp to perm ole, please note there will be the odd night away where full expenses and hotels are paid
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the company vans, for scheduled battery changes of In post Lockers
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely visits.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading of batteries.
- Communicate effectively with clients, and team members regarding change schedules or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of battery changes , mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Ensure the vehicle remains clean and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver.
- 23 years plus for insurance purpose
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards at all times.
