We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our clientsβ equipment and systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, travelling to various locations to ensure optimal operation of our products and solutions. The ideal applicant will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to service delivery.
Duties
- Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment and systems at client locations.
- Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform repairs or replacements of faulty components efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Document service activities comprehensively, including reports on repairs, inspections, and recommendations.
- Liaise with the central office to coordinate service schedules and report any recurring issues or potential improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service activities.
- Assist in the development of service procedures and technical documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems within a field service environment is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple service calls efficiently.
- Valid driving licence is essential; willingness to travel extensively is required.
