My client is looking for class 2 drivers with HIAB licences anywhere within Northampton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Corby, and Peterborough. My client, a renowned builder’s merchant, requires an HGV 2 driver with a lorry mounted crane licence (HIAB). This licence must be in date and valid from one of the below accrediting bodies: ALLMI, ITSSAR, RTITB, AITT, NPORS, CPCS, and having Brick Grab (Remote Control) experience is an advantage.
The work will involve the delivery of building materials to residential and commercial building sites, usually within a 60-mile radius. Some handball will be required at some sites. Usually, a standard working day will be from 07:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, and alternative Saturday mornings. Guaranteed 45 hours pay per week. You will be expected to complete 6 to 12 deliveries per shift.
Applicants must have held a class 2 licence for a minimum of 6 months and have no more than 9 penalty points. This vacancy is available immediately and is permanent ongoing. While there is no age restriction, experience is required. We accept LTD companies and work with various umbrella companies.
