HGV 1 Trainer Assessor. Our Client Based in Corby requires a Trainer Assessor/ Senior Driver HGV Driver trainer assessor Monday to Friday- with occasional Saturday as business needs. £45,000-£50,000. The Senior Driver / Driver Trainer role will lead the development & coaching of their best-in-class driving team. No two days will be the same as you play an integral part in raising their already high standards. The main responsibilities of the Senior Driver / Driver Trainer will involve: * Assess potential new drivers, measuring them against our exacting standards. * Manage the on-boarding training and assessment of new drivers. * Refine and deliver best-in-class driver coaching & development initiatives. * Deliver & continually develop our in-house DCPC courses. * Have responsibility for the use and development of our telematics & camera technology. * Regularly carry out the role of a driver. About you * ·Significant previous experience of assessing & coaching a large (50+) HGV driver population. * Possess a respectful, nurturing & inspiring attitude. * Familiar with telematics, HR and transport management systems. * Hands-on experience of operating a HGV. * HGV C+E licence holder. * An in-depth understanding of EU Tachograph /RTD/Vehicle weights & measures legislation.
