We are working with a busy transport company looking for an experienced Trampers to join their team. This role involves tramping Monday to Friday and requires drivers to be comfortable driving in London and the outskirts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a truck to various locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Deliver unattended trailers to locations
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues
Required Skills and Experience:
- HGV Class 1 C+E licence entitlement, valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- No more than 6 points on your licence (no DD or major endorsements)
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Ability to operate various types of trucks
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
