We are seeking a reliable and proactive General Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks within our organisation, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Duties

  • Assisting with the preparation and organisation of materials and equipment for daily operations
  • Supporting production processes as directed by supervisors
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure health and safety compliance
  • Operating basic machinery or tools following safety protocols (training provided)
  • Loading and unloading goods or materials using manual handling techniques or equipment
  • Conducting routine inspections to identify any faults or hazards and reporting them promptly
  • Supporting team members in completing tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic physical fitness for manual handling tasks and standing for extended periods

Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Monday to Friday, 06:00 AM - 2:00 PM
