We are currently recruiting on behalf of a logistics company, for an experiencedClass 1 & Shunter Driverto join their team inRaunds. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for long-term work with a respected local employer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operateClass 1 (Category C+E)vehicles for on-site and local deliveries
  • Carry outshunting dutieswithin the yard and between nearby company sites
  • Complete vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
  • Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow all company and legal safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licencewith up-to-date CPC and digital tacho card
  • A good understanding of vehicle safety and yard protocols
  • Flexible attitude and a willingness to support wider transport operations
  • A maximum of6 penalty points(no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Full-time, Temp to perm
  • On-site parking and facilities available
