STOCK CONTROLLER WRTW – HARRODS in London

For the new Tom Ford Women\’s RTW opening at Harrods, we are seeking a Stock Controller to support the launch and daily operations of the store.The role is essential in ensuring excellence in stock management, accuracy of inventory, and compliance with luxury brand standards. The Stock Controller will guarantee optimal product availability while maintaining the highest levels of organization, precision, and care required in a luxury retail environment.Tasks & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all Women\’s RTW and Accessories productsPerform regular stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations, especially during the opening phaseIdentify and resolve stock discrepancies in collaboration with store managementMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom in line with Harrods and Brand standardsTrack and report all stock movements, including deliveries, transfers, returns, and adjustmentsEnsure timely and accurate replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor to support sales performanceWork closely with the sales team to guarantee availability of key and fast-selling itemsCollaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure stock is displayed according to Brand and Harrods guidelinesReceiving and Dispatch Manage the receiving, checking, and processing of incoming merchandise for the new store opening and ongoing operationsPerform quality control checks to ensure all products meet Brand standardsEnsure correct documentation for deliveries, returns, and transfersCoordinate dispatches to other locations or clients, ensuring accuracy, care, and compliance with proceduresLoss Prevention and Compliance Apply and strictly follow company and Harrods procedures related to stock control and loss preventionSupport shrinkage prevention initiatives and promptly report any anomaliesEnsure compliance with internal policies, security regulations, health & safety standards, and HR guidelinesRequirements Previous experience in a Stock Controller or Stockroom role within Luxury Retail , preferably in Women\’s RTW and AccessoriesExperience in department store environments, ideally Harrods , is considered a strong plusStrong attention to detail, precision, and organizational skillsAbility to manage stock operations in a fast-paced new opening environmentStrong sense of responsibility, reliability, and teamworkGood communication skills and collaborative attitudeFamiliarity with inventory management systemsGood knowledge of Microsoft OfficeFlexibility and availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidaysWhy work with us?
